How to Install dreampie software package in Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus)

dreampie software package provides advanced graphical interactive Python shell, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dreampie

dreampie is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dreampie package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dreampie *

You will get with dreampie package name, version, architecture and description in a table
